Vancouver, British Columbia

Vancouver, British Columbia

From Mount Revelstoke, we drove around 7 hours to Vancouver, British Columbia.  It was a long day of driving, but we were thrilled to reunite with Grace that evening at the airport in Vancouver.  While we waited for her flight, Justin took the boys to the movies, and I did some reading in the RV and was grateful for some quiet time.  We arrived at our RV park late the night, nestled under the Lionsgate Bridge in Vancouver.

We woke up the next morning, and hoofed it over to meet Jessica Gagnon, Scotty, and their two boys, Hudson and Jack, who live in Vancouver, at the Capitano Suspension Bridge Park.  We had a blast exploring the canopy in the forest, walking the maze of bridges, learning about the wildlife there, and playing with Hudson and Jack and catching up with Jess and Scotty.

After our time at Capilano, we took a cab (the kids loved riding in a taxi) over to Granville Island.  We checked out the shops and public market there, bought SO MUCH fresh fruit, ate some great food, listened to the live music, and watched the boats and seagulls and fish from the end of the docks.  What a great time we all had together!

Vancouver, thanks for the great time!  Back to the United States we go!!!
