From Louisiana, we drove to Austin, Texas.  We arrived mid-morning, and headed first to Franklin's BBQ for lunch.  AMAZING brisket!  From there, we headed to our RV park, Pecan Grove in the Barton Springs area of town (such an awesome location!) to get settled and we headed out on our bikes to explore.  We rode down to Barton Creek, where we had learned about a swimming hole there.  We all had an absolute blast on the rope swings into the river!  After playing in the water awhile, we rode to the South Congress neighborhood to pop in a few shops and get some ice cream (it was 100 degrees!) before riding back.  We finished the day with some awesome TexMex and margaritas at El Alma (AMAZING!)!  The next morning, we got some awesome lattes at Jo's and breakfast tacos at Veracruz before hitting the road.  I told Justin I could have stayed in Austin another week - I just love that city!!!
