MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK, KENTUCKY

Following our time in Nashville, we drove an hour and a half to Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky.  We had a great campground for the night, right in the park and right adjacent to the Visitor Center.  First thing in the morning, we headed to the Visitor Center for our scheduled tour, the Historic Tour, which took us all through the caves (there are 400 miles of cave - the longest cave in the WORLD!). It was incredible!  We loved the few hours we spent in the cave, and then headed on our way to St. Louis after lunch.
