MOBILE, ALABAMA & PERDITO KEY BEACH, FLORIDA & OCEAN SPRINGS, MISSISSIPPI

Following our time in Hot Springs, Arkansas, we decided that we should head to Alabama, since none of us other than Justin had ever been.  Why not!?!?  We drove to Mobile, Alabama, to have dinner, but quickly realized that the streets there aren't really built for RVs, and we quickly got the hell outta dodge after taking down a few tree branches (and almost a few cars!).  LOL.  We drove to Orange Beach, Alabama, and arrived late that night with the plan of spending the next day on a Florida beach.  What a call!  We headed in the morning to Perdito Key State Park Beach in Florida, and had such a wonderful day there.  The kids LOVED how warm the water was, and couldn't believe how fine and white the sand was, either.  We all played in the water for hours, and it was so nice to relax.  That afternoon, we headed through Mississippi to New Orleans, but took a pit stop in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to visit Grace's first grade teacher, Ali Brakebill, who has always been such a sweet part of our lives.  We loved catching up with her and her husband, Joel, and then headed on our way to the Big Easy that night.
